Shiekh Saad Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah



H.H was born in 1930 he was known for his confidence in the field and dealt with problems in a wise way. During his region new police and security systems were established. Also Emergency Medical Services (DEMS) was equipped with new vehicles and central operations room was established with the reach and power of wireless stations was boosted.

Shiekh Saad also played a major role in liberating Kuwait  Saddam Hussein's regime and is therefore a popular and much loved figure for all Kuwaitis.

He would be able to support the resistance movement and raise the international community's awareness of Kuwait's plight. 

Sheikh Saad ensured that the people of Kuwait were  provided with decent living conditions. 
Although he had to face many problems as a result of the aggressive invasion of Kuwait.   shiekh Saad al-Abdullah al-Sabah served as Emir of Kuwait for less than 10 days in 2006 until his rule was cut short by ill-health.

Shiekh Jaber Ahmed Al-Sabah

H.H shiekh Jaber Ahmed Al-Sabah
H.H shiekh Jaber Ahmed Al-Sabah was born in 29 may 1926. In 1977 H.H took the thrown after the death of his cousin. He was known for being wise and had experience in financial   matters to benefit his country especially regarding the organization of Kuwait's internal and external financial affairs.

Sheikh Jaber was a strong advocate of Arab unity and fully supported political and economic powers in the Gulf and the Arabian Peninsula. He played an important role in the establishment of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the first historic summit of the organization that was held in the United Arab Emirates in 1981. http://3arabimag.com/SubjectArticle.asp?ID=11491 H.H also played a vital role in bringing together an  international coalition to restore Kuwait's independence after the Iraqi invasion. http://www.mofa.go.jp/policy/other/bluebook/1991/1991-2-1.htm

After the liberation of Kuwait, Sheikh Jaber led the efforts to reconstruct the country in a short period of time. He died in 15 January 2006.

Shiekh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah

Shiekh Abdullah was born in 1895 in kuwait he was the eleventh ruler of kuwait. during his region the construction increased dramatically due to the oil that boomed kuwait. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZyoAGPz If Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah maintained Kuwait's international and political position, then Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah established the country's pillars of authority by founding the legal and constitutional institutions that enhanced its independence and further promoted democracy and progress.


When education was established.
Schools in kuwait  were furnished with modern equipment, labs and school meals and uniforms were provided and teaching colleges and institutes for the handicapped were also established. Education in kuwait became free to all during his region. Citizens and residents were given free health care. Pharmacies, centers for maternity and infant health care and the Al-Sabah Hospital were set up.

 In 1961 Kuwait gained full independence. Britain was terminated and replaced with an agreement of friendship. From then on Kuwait was a sovereign state and since joining the Arab League in July 1961 it participated in all the League's conferences. Kuwait also took part in the social development of other arab countries. The first cabinet was formed After independence and elections were held to choose twenty members to form the Constituent Assembly that drafted the constitution. In January  1963 elections were held to choose the first National Assembly after independence. kuwait also joined united nations on may,14 1963.

Shiekh Abdullah died in november 24 1965, after suffering from a heart attack.

Shiekh Ahmed Jaber Al Sabah

H.H Shiekh Ahmed Al-Jaber 
H.H Shiekh Ahmed Jaber Al Sabah was born in Kuwait in 1885. He became the 10 ruler of kuwait after the death of his uncle Shiekh Salem Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah. During his region he accomplished a lot during his region. Shiekh Ahmed was known as a wise man and determined to protect and map Kuwait s boundaries despite troubling Conditions. 

During his region he established a parliament and issued law which defined its powers.
The second event that took place during his region is The presence of huge quantities of oil was discovered in February 1938. Although Kuwait did not benefit from this discovery until June 30, 1946 due to the start of World War ll in 1939 http://www.kpc.com.kw/newscontent/media/opening/eng2.html Once oil revenues began to flow into Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber used them to improve the education, health and infrastructure of his country. http://www.newstrackindia.com/information/locations/Kuwait/1292885-city-al-ahmadi.htm Al Ahmadi City was constructed during his reign and oil revenues were also used to develop desalination and electricity plants. Al-Ahmadiya School, the National Library and the Literature Club were also established during his reign. H.H died in kuwait's dasman palace in 1950. 

On June 30th, 1946 H.H. the late Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah turned a silver wheel to start Kuwait's first crude oil export aboard the tanker

Shiekh Mubarak Bin Sabah Al Sabah

The late Sheikh Mubarak Al Sabah the 7th Ruler of the State of Kuwait and known as “Great Mubarak” http://www.da.gov.kw/eng/picsandevents/amir7.php HH shiekh Mubarak was born in Kuwait in 1837 son of Shiekh Sabah Al Sabah II. He asked for British protection in September 1897 due to the problems they faced with the Ottoman State. He was rejected by the British Government on the pretext of that it is unnecessary to intervene in the region. However it changed its position and agreed on signing an agreement in January 23, 1899. One of the most prominent features of the agreement is that Sheikh Mubarak should not accept any agent or representatives of any foreign country without the British Government’s consent.


Sheikh Mubarak agreed that Britain assigns a commissioner in Kuwait. Therefore kuwait was controlled by the british till the declaration of kuwait's independence in 1961. Mubarakeyah and Ahmadeyah also Shura Council was established in 1921 and 1st election of municipality was held in 1932 and Legislative Council in 1938, Health and Education Councils were established in 1936, Public Security Department in 1938 and Orphanage Department in 1939. 

During the later years of Mubarak’s life he wrestled with bouts of illness. Mubarak eventually died on November 28, 1915 due to an attack of malaria caused by his serious heart condition.
